THE OFFICIAL CURRICULUM
The official Microsoft training curriculum offers two courses for
developers:
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV C/Side Introduction course: 5 days
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV C/Side Solution Development course: 5 days
This official course track takes 10 days and does not deal with the
integration between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft SQL Server. This course
lasts for 2 days. Students also need to have attended the "Microsoft Dynamics
NAV Introduction training course" beforehand.
This means that the time
required for this official course track is 14 days.

GRIP - NAV 2009 DEVELOPMENT
Plataan is very familiar with these two particular tracks and saw an opportunity to accelerate this course and add extra content to the official tracks.
In the current versions of Microsoft Dynamics Nav, knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and integration with Microsoft Dynamics Nav are essential. This knowledge is not contained in the official Microsoft Dynamics Nav courses.
Plataan has developed a two-day course for this that deals with the way Microsoft Dynamics Nav and Microsoft SQL Server operate together.
Plataan has added this essential Microsoft SQL Server segment to the GRIP-Development course.
This makes GRIP-NAV 2009 Development the most comprehensive and efficient training course for developers.
GRIP-NAV 2009 Development accelerates and adds extra knowledge: Official Microsoft Dynamics Nav Development track: 10 days GRIP-NAV 2009 Development track: 7 days including MS SQL Server content
